As I journalled this morning, here is what I ‘heard’ from the Lord. I hope it will be an encouragement to you as well!
I want you to enjoy Christmas this year…..I want it to be a meaningful time where you are not rushing around in a panic trying to get things done, but simply resting in Me throughout the holiday season.
Thanksgiving to Christmas has become a nightmare for so many….but originally, the intent was to worship and honor and glorify Me….a month long period of worship and praise and more intent focus. It’s in the winter when things move at a slower pace (or used to)…the farmers were basically finished for the year, the nights began earlier, and there was a more relaxed pace to ‘pause and calmly think of Me’. It can be that way for you if you will let it. It’s easy to get caught up in the ‘hustle and bustle’ but I will help you to ‘tune in’ to Me during these days. This can be your best ‘holy-day’ season ever if you resist the temptations to lose your focus.
